ACE Graduate Volunteers in GuatemalaAs part of the ACE non-profit division, Community English Language Education projects, ACE graduate Christina Perkins has travelled to Guatemala for a three month volunteer trip to teach English as a second language. Christina is currently volunteering at Casa Guatemala, an orphanage near Guatemala City, teaching English to kindergarten classes through to grade three. Christina arrived at the beginning of August and will stay until the beginning of November. We look forward to Christina's stories about her experiences. |

CAFUC Teachers Studying at Renison University CollegeNineteen English teachers from the Civil Aviation Flight University of China (CAFUC) arrived at the end of June to study for 14 weeks at Renison University College, University of Waterloo. The teachers have thus far successfully completed the ACE TESOL Certificate and a customized course on language teaching and technology. They are now hard at work on the ACE TESOL Diploma. |
